REM3D enables Schneider Electric Industries to simulate the filling of very complex parts.

The animation shows the filling of a part used for the validation of REM3D filling results.

REM3D achieves excellent precision in the filling of this complex part.

Household application

With the help of REM3D the evolution of the flow front as well as the shape and location of the gas core pushing the polymer can be shown.

In this application REM3D is used to optimize the filling rate of the handle.

The following animations show an insufficient filling and this results in a gas vein burst out.

Vascular access site

This vascular access site comes from the biotechnology industrial sector.

The animation shows a complete injection cycle in 3D:
- filling
- packing
- warpage and shrinkage in the mold (the deformation has been overemphasised).

This computation has been completed with REM3D -v2.2 available since January 2004 .

Household application

REM3D v2.2 includes a warp fully 3D solver to predict warpage and shrinkage in the mold and in the air.

This example shows the warpage and the shrinkage in the part while it cools in the molds and in the air.

REM3D simulates the whole extrusion process taking the conformator and the watertub into consideration.

REM3D allows to simulate a free die exit to visualize the balancing in the die exit.
