POSITION

The Transvalor IT Department is looking for a passionate and motivated System Administrator to join our team. You will be involved in the Operational Condition Maintenance (OCM) and Security Condition Maintenance (SCM) of environments related to our internal projects.

MISSIONS

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Administering systems (Linux servers and Windows PCs);
  • Managing network infrastructures (Switches, Routers, Firewalls);
  • Managing backups and ensuring their proper functioning;
  • Supervising patch management, antivirus solutions, vulnerability analysis, and compliance monitoring;
  • Providing technical support to internal teams (mainly developers);
  • Handling incidents and problems while ensuring effective follow-up and reporting;
  • Managing changes and their impacts on infrastructures;
  • Writing operating and installation manuals;
  • Participating in infrastructure upgrade projects to continuously improve existing environments.

PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science (Bac+3 minimum or equivalent);
  • Proven expertise in Linux system administration, with knowledge of Windows environments;
  • Proficiency in virtualization tools and backup solutions;
  • Solid knowledge of system security practices (patching, vulnerability analysis, compliance);
  • Strong technical documentation writing skills;
  • Proactive with a strong team spirit;
  • Patient, with excellent communication and teaching skills.

YOUR STRENGTHS

  • Microsoft 365: EntraID, Defender, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online/OneDrive, Teams;
  • Scripting languages: Bash & PowerShell;
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences;
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodologies;
  • Experience with computing clusters (HPC) would be an asset.

POSITION DETAILS

  • Location: Biot / Sophia Antipolis;
  • Full-time permanent contract (CDI);
  • Hybrid work model (2 days/week remote);
  • Annual gross salary: between €40k and €52k;
  • Executive status.
