For over 13 years, the Fraunhofer Institute for Mechanics of Materials has relied on FORGE® to simulate processes across a range of fracture and damage models. While earlier researchs primarily focused on cold forming processes, the current work has shifted toward microstructure modeling and predicting material behavior in hot forging processes.
