How does simulation empower both education and research in metal forming?

At  ENSAM (Arts et Métiers), Camille Durand integrates Transvalor’s FORGE® software into both education and research, continuing a long-standing collaboration between the two institutions.

In her teaching, Camille uses FORGE® to enhance metal forming courses, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on training on semi-industrial machines in the workshop. This practical approach gives students a unique opportunity to experience real-world applications of simulation in manufacturing.

Beyond education, she also applies FORGE® in her research activities, focusing on the modeling of forging machine behavior to better understand and optimize industrial processes.
