TPMS-5 iNTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THERMAL PROCESS MODELING AND SIMULATION

Transvalor will be present in the 4th Mediterranean Conference on Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering (MCHTSE 2024) and the 5th International Conference on Thermal Process Modeling and Simulation (TPMS-5). These two IFHTSE events will be jointly held in Lecce, Italy, from April 17 to 19, 2024. They provide a platform for engineers, scientists, researchers, and production managers to discuss fundamental aspects, new challenges and recent advancements within the domains of advanced heat treatment and surface engineering technology.

TPMS-5 delves into various facets of thermal process modeling and simulation, including :

  • Phase transformation
  • Heat treatment
  • Deformation
  • Melting
  • Welding
  • Additive manufacturing

Additionally, it explores artificial intelligence, process control, and advanced tools for computer-integrated material processing.

What is transvalor's contribution in the field?

  • SIMHEAT® is a specialized simulation software designed for analyzing heat treatment processes, whether applied to materials' entire volume or surface. This versatile tool can accurately model heat treatments for a wide range of materials, including low alloy steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium. Its effectiveness lies in predicting critical factors like phase transformations, product hardness, tensile strength, and providing insights into residual stresses and microstructure changes during and post-heat treatment.
  • FORGE®, the hot forming simulation software, ensures defect-free part production by accurately predicting deformation, underfill areas, and material folds. It optimizes manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  • TRANSWELD® is a robust software that specializes in welding simulations, providing comprehensive insights into welding processes. With precise control over parameters and material properties, it optimizes weld quality and efficiency.
  • DIGIMU® streamlines microstructure generation and analysis.

DO NOT MISS TRANSVALOR'S PRESENTATIONS!

TRANSVALOR's participation in the 5th International Conference on Thermal Process Modeling and Simulation features several highlights, including presentations by Arianna Gotti. With expertise in the field, Arianna will deliver, each addressing crucial aspects of industrial processes and numerical simulations:

  • "Microstructure prediction during thermo-mechanical processes of metallic alloys with a full-field approach based on the level set method"

  • "Microsegregation and fluid interaction with the electromagnetic field: essential features for realistic numerical simulation of industrial casting processes of metallic alloys"

We look forward to showcasing our solutions at the TMPS-5 conference and connecting with industry experts to discuss their needs and challenges.
