ESAFORM 2024
Transvalor will participate in the 27th International ESAFORM Conference on Material Forming (ESAFORM 2024), hosted by the Clément Ader Institute and ENIT at the Pierre Baudis Convention Center in Toulouse, France, from April 24-26, 2024. This gathering attracts experts from both the academic and industrial sectors globally, providing a forum to share and discuss the most recent technological advancements and accomplishments in the field of material forming.
PRESENTATION BY TRANSVALOR
- PhD Pascal De Micheli, engineer in our Development team, will deliver a scientific presentation titled: "Full field Continuous Dynamic Recrystallization simulations considering precipitates evolutions with DIGIMU®".
This presentation will showcase the capabilities of DIGIMU® in simulating Continuous Dynamic Recrystallization (CDRX) with evolving second-phase particles. It will discuss the implementation of a new formalism for describing particle boundaries, defining grain orientations, and computing grain boundary energy. The presentation will also highlight the adaptation of the Gourdet-Montheillet CDRX model to a full-field framework and the identification of corresponding parameters for Zircaloy-4.
